Tool and Clothing Allowance Policy

Eligible employees receive an annual Tool Allowance and/or Clothing Allowance based on position. Allowance amounts, eligibility, and matching programs will be reviewed and re-evaluated annually by the CEO. SOP document included with this policy and is available on company website for review.

Tool Allowance
  • Allowance varies by position; New Installers receive up to $500 in year one.
  • Once an installer’s $150 Tool Allowance is fully used, the company will provide a 50% match on additional tool purchases, up to a maximum company contribution of $150 per year.
  • If employment ends before one year, tools remain the employee’s property and the total company-paid value will be deducted from the final paycheck.
  • Tool Allowance account balance may not exceed $500; no additional funds added if over limit at annual reload.
Clothing Allowance
  • Allowance varies by position; balance may not exceed $500.
  • Clothing must be company-approved colors. (Orange/Black /Gray)
  • Footwear limited to $125 per purchase; excess is employee responsibility.
  • Clothing items purchased through the allowance are not charged back or deducted from an employee’s final paycheck, regardless of length of employment.
Purchases & Ordering
  • Catalog items are pre-approved; all others require management approval.
  • Clothing orders placed twice yearly: third week of March and September.
  • Deadlines will be sent out via email and newsletter.
